FAQ

What does Screen Capture not track?

Answer: Things Screen Capture does not track:

  • Desktop applications.
  • Interactions with other plug-ins.
  • Double clicking (i.e., it will not generate a step that says "double click here").
  • Right clicking (i.e., it will not generate a step that says "right click here").
Can I interact with other parts of the browser extension while a screen capture is in progress?

Answer: If a screen capture is in progress (this includes if one is paused), you cannot interact with the other parts of the Hudu extension. You have to finish or discard your capture. This is by design—we do not want you to lose your work or forget that the capture was in progress—you need to finish it.

Can I record one screen capture across two browsers?

Answer: You can't have two browsers open and try to record one capture across both—it will not work. You can have infinite tabs in one browser and switch as much as you would like, but you cannot jump between two different browser windows.
