Portal Issues - Seeing a blank error page

If you have a portal member and they are seeing a Blank Page or an error page (does it say "

Uh-oh, this page seems to have disappeared.")? What this usually means (the issue can be one or more of the following):

 

  • The Portal that they are assigned has not been created
  • The Portal that they are assigned has not been activated
  • They haven't been assigned a portal.

Fixes

  1. The Portal that they are assigned has not been created. Go to the Company > left-hand sidebar -> External Sharing, and hit the Create button.mceclip1.png
  2. The Portal that they are assigned has not been activated. Go to the Company > left-hand sidebar -> External Sharing, and hit the Activate button.mceclip0.png
  3. They haven't been assigned a portal. Go to the Hudu Admin -> Users and when editing a user, assign them a portal to access. Each user can only be assigned to one portal.mceclip2.png

 

Not seeing the External Sharing tab/option?

This tab can be turned off in Hudu Admin > General, so make sure it is on!
