Before starting to connect an integration, please read:
The Syncro integration allows you to sync over:
- Companies
- Contacts
- Assets
- Navigate to the Admin Tab
- Scroll down to Integrations in the Account administration section
- Once on the configuration page, you will need to acquire two key items
- The Syncro domain
- The API key
- When copying the Syncro domain, it's important to follow the format
- Instancename.syncromsp.com (do not include https or any "/")
- To find the API key, open your Syncro instance
- Click on your profile picture
- Hit settings
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, on the right side you'll see API Tokens
- Select, New Token
- There is a prebuilt configuration for Hudu, navigate to the Hudu column and select "Create token"
- Once created, name it and copy the provided token
- Paste the token in the API Key section
- Click on your profile picture
- Save Settings
- After you will be sent to the Settings Page for the Integration
- Press the Test Connection button to ensure it worked
- You should see a Connection Successful Card display
- To start the process, hit the Start Sync Button
- If the sync has been loading for a couple of minutes, refresh the page. This should correct the forever loop. If this did not, try another resync. Or, there was a typo when inputting key/domain
- After the sync, go to the Match Companies tab
- Hudu will recommend matches, you can accept them, or change matches manually
- If a match does not exist, Hudu will create a Client/Company for you
- Have multiple companies and don’t want to do one by one? Bulk Create/Match will auto-sort for you
- We recommend doing one company first, to ensure your filters work, once completed, the assets connected will be populated in the new company brought in
- Once matched, run another sync to see which assets have been pulled in
- Hudu will recommend matches, you can accept them, or change matches manually
- Once companies are matched, navigate to the settings page
- Under the "Contacts Will be Matched or inserted Into" select the Asset template that best meets the requirements of the Contacts being imported.
- The Primary Sync Location is the auto-assignment. This means that any information being pulled in will automatically be put in this Asset, if not a client.
- If there are multiple asset types, add more filters in the Other Sync Location. This will take precedent over the Primary Sync. Items will only populate in the Primary Sync if the "Add Sort Rule" doesn't specify their location.
- Here you can add as many that fit your needs by selecting the existing pulled asset entity under the "When Type is"
- Create a new asset type if the current one does not fit
- Save settings
- Here you can add as many that fit your needs by selecting the existing pulled asset entity under the "When Type is"
- If Asset Layouts aren't matched, we recommend deleting all integrated Assets and checking your Edit Settings filter to ensure there is no issue
- Once the Assets and company importing are to your liking, bring the rest in.
- Now let's look at an example
- Here you can see the asset can be added, and below is a detailed card. The Card cannot be changed in this asset form, but extra fields and information can be added to the Asset.
