One core feature of Hudu is the ability to track expirations.
You have the ability to add custom expirations via a Date Expiration Field in any Asset Layout you create. Navigate to the Admin tab on your navigation bar at the top of your screen and click into the specific asset you would like to add an expiration to. Click "New Field" and a new window will pop up:
Managing Expirations
There are two ways to view and manage your expirations:
- Company-wide or globally across all clients within Hudu.
- Per client.
Expirations are also automatically added from certain integrations (ConnectWise Manage, etc.) and from domain and SSL certificate expirations.
Global Expirations
Upcoming expirations are populated into the Expiring Soon category on your main Hudu Dashboard and will show up here when they reach a certain number of 'trigger days' away from the expiration date (the number of trigger days is set by you). For help navigating the dashboard, click here.
You can view all expirations globally by navigating to the Expiring Soon category on the dashboard and clicking View All. This will bring up a list of ALL client expirations in an organized and concise view.
Client-Specific Expirations
You can also do the same within a company to see only expirations for that specific company. To access client-specific expirations, jump into the client of choice. Navigate to the left-hand sidebar and find the Expirations tab to pull up a new window:
From here you can find all expirations for the specific client, the type of content each expiration is for, and the expiration date with an easy-to-read "Days Away" function.
As an admin, you can set up granular alerts to be notified when expirations expire by going to Admin >> Alerts.
