Hudu supports and recommends multi-factor authentication for all user accounts. It is easy to set up with Hudu.
We recommend using Google Authenticator on iPhone or Android to pair with our MFA process.
Set up
- Individual users can set up multi-factor authentication by going to their profile and clicking Set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and following the short process listed on the page.
- From there, scroll to the bottom:
- Then, you need to scan the QR code that appears (or enter in the secret key - if the QR code isn't working for you!), and, you will need to have one successful test of it for it to be enabled:
- Two Factor will now be enabled on the account!
In order for you to require all users have multi-factor authentication, you must first set it up!
Troubleshooting
Make sure your date/time on your phone and computer are correct, otherwise you can run into drift issues and your 2FA will not work!
