Setting Default Search Preferences
Hudu allows you to configure default search behavior from your user profile, so you don’t have to adjust settings every time you search.
In your User Profile settings, you’ll find the following options:
- Default to comprehensive – Automatically enables comprehensive search for all queries
- Default to global – Sets your searches to include all companies by default (instead of limiting to a specific company)
These preferences act as your baseline search behavior whenever you open the search modal. You can still override them on a per-search basis directly within the modal if needed.
Using these defaults is especially helpful if you consistently:
- Prefer broader, more inclusive search results
- Work across multiple companies and need global visibility
By setting your preferred defaults, you can streamline your workflow and reduce the need for repetitive adjustments.
