Accessing the Shortcut Cheat Sheet

Hudu includes a built-in shortcut cheat sheet that appears in a scrollable overlay on the right side of the screen.

• On macOS: Press Command (⌘) + /
• On Windows: Press Ctrl + /

This overlay provides a quick-reference guide to all available shortcuts, so you can stay focused without leaving your current view.

Top 5 Shortcuts to Learn First

To get the most out of Hudu, start by mastering these high-impact shortcuts:

1. / – Open the global search
2. Shift + E – Edit
3. Shift + F – Favorite/Unfavorite
4. G then P – Search passwords

Closing the Overlay

To close the shortcut overlay:

• Press Esc, or
• Click the X in the top-right corner of the panel.

This allows you to quickly return to your work without disruption.

How do I disable shortcuts?

You can disable keyboard shortcuts in your user profile. Note that this will not disable rich text formatting (i.e. command + “B” for bold) or keyboard navigation (i.e. hitting tab to move to the next interactive element). At this time, if you disable shortcuts you will not be able to access specific item searches (i.e. “P” to search Passwords).
