The Hudu admin area is accessible ONLY to admins and super admin users within your organization.
Global process templates (GPTs) within Hudu are your processes that can serve as onboarding procedures, SOPs, or just checklists that you may want to reuse across multiple clients. Global processes are created and edited in the exact fashion as normal, client-specific processes; but can be accessed and re-used easily across all client spaces.
GPTs can also be designated as onboarding processes; meaning they will be featured on the dashboard of all of your client interfaces until they are completed (after completion they can be accessed via the clients' processes tab).
Guides
In this section, we'll cover how to create and manage processes at the global process template level.
For information on client-specific processes, visit Processes.
Creating GPTs
- Navigate to your Hudu admin area; then into the Process Templates tab.
- This first window will show you all of your GPTs in a list format.
- On the left-hand side, start by giving your GPT a name, then selecting the ((Start Organizing...)) button.
- Once created, it will appear in the list format.
Editing GPTs
- Navigate to your Hudu admin area; then into the Process Templates tab.
- Click on the global process template that you’d like to edit.
- Click the ((Edit)) button above the Process Description.
- To create tasks for the checklist, click ((+ New Task)).
- Name the task.
- Provide a description of the task using our WYSIWIG editor.
- To delete tasks, click into the task you wish to delete and click the red trash can icon located to the right.
- Click ((Update)) before navigating away to ensure your process updates save!
Using GPTs
To utilize your created Global Process Templates:
- Navigate to an individual client [space], then into their processes section on the left-hand menu.
- Click ((+ New)).
- From this window, you’ll have the option to create a client-specific process; either by creating a new process OR starting from an existing GPT.
- By selecting ((Create from Template)) you’ll duplicate the GPT exactly and can further edit the process to be more specific to the client (space) you currently reside.
Editing processes that were created from a Global Process Template WILL NOT edit the original GPT and/or any other processes that may have been created from the same GPT.
Onboarding Process
Marking a global process template as an onboarding process will automatically feature it on the Overview page of all spaces until it is completed.
- Onboarding processes will only be added to a client’s processes section once they are started.
- When ‘onboarding processes’ are in progress (started, but not yet completed) they will appear in both the clients’ processes section, as well as on the dashboard.
- Once an ‘onboarding process’ has been completed, this will be removed from the client's Overview page; but will always (unless deleted) remain in the clients’ processes section.
