The Hudu admin area is accessible ONLY to admins and super admin users within your organization.
The Design tab of the Hudu admin area allows for customization of your businesses’ Hudu interface, as well as branding options for various items.

Branding
Hudu offers nearly complete customization of your environment in terms of branding. You can choose the primary and complimentary colors; upload your logos and any alternate logos, as well as upload your own favicon.
Custom Colors
This section serves to customize the color palette used within your Hudu environment. This includes text colors as well as the Hudu Toolbar and login page colors.
In order for your color choice to be visible; you will need to have the design theme set to default (found by navigating to the top right profile icon >> edit profile.
To change the color scheme of Hudu, modify the below fields in Hudu:
- Primary Color.
- Primary Color (Lighter Shade).
- Primary Color (Darker Shade).
- Primary Color (Lightest Shade).
- Primary Color (Darkest Shade).
Custom Logos/Icons
This section serves to customize the logos visible when on different pages within Hudu. Upload your logos by selecting Choose File under the desired field:
The logo must be a PNG, GIF, or JPEG and no larger than 100 MB.
- Custom Logo
- Changes the main logo and all other logos (if no below fields override).
- Sign-In Logo
- Changes the logo that appears on the Sign-In page.
- If no logo is selected; the chosen custom logo above will appear.
- Shared Resource Logo
- Changes the logo that appears on resources that are shared out of your Hudu environment.
- If no logo is selected; the chosen custom logo above will appear.
- Favicon
- Changes your Hudu favicon for web-browsers.
Emails
This section serves to customize aspects of invite e-mails that are sent to users upon being invited to your Hudu environment. This would include all technician users invited as well as portal users.
- Set Subject used on New User Invite Emails
- Customize the subject line for the new user invite e-mails.
- Set Wording used on New User Invite Emails
- Customize the content for the new user invite e-mails.
Stylesheets
Custom CSS
Hudu provides the ability to further customize your environment by providing the ability to add custom .css styles to your environment.

PDF Handoffs
Customize the watermark of your exported PDF Handoffs as well as add a disclaimer after the title page of your PDF Handoffs.
Asset QR Codes Sizing
Customize the size of asset QR codes by setting the width and heigh in centimeters. Defaults to 5.08cm by 10.16cm if left blank.
Naming
The naming section allows you to customize the basic sign-in nomenclature, this would be for:
- Sign-In
- Change Sign-In Message.
- Portal Sign-In
- Change Portal Sign-In Message.
- Admin Sign-In
- Change Admin Sign-In Message.
